People have been left absolutely stunned after Adam Scott made a surprise appearance in his daughter’s TikTok video on Wednesday, with many admitting that they had no idea he is old enough to have a 16-year-old child.
“Me informing my dad about my weekend plans,” Francesca wrote, while lip-syncing: “I have a busy week.” The camera then pans to Adam, who looks unimpressed as he lip-syncs Scott’s part, asking: “Do you?”
“Thursday, Nobu. Vegas Friday — then I have a spray tan at 8.45,” Francesca’s part continues, with Adam being shown again as he lip-syncs: “Oh my god, things are filling up!”
“It appears that I’ve severely underestimated Adam Scott’s age,” the top comment reads.
“I’m shocked Adam Scott has a daughter this old,” somebody else wrote, while another joked: “How is Adam Scott my age who also has a daughter that’s my age.”
“Adam Scott has been 35 to me for the last 20yrs. Paul Rudd level aging,” one more wrote.
Somebody else exclaimed: “there is no way adam scott is someones dad !🤔,” while another added: “This was me finding out he’s 52 omg he hasn’t aged since parks and rec.”
“How the fuck is ur dad adam Scott that just seems unfathomable to me,” one more asked. Somebody else admitted: “I’ve really never thought about how old Adam was until now.”
And if people are shocked to learn that Adam has a 16-year-old child, they’ll be even more rattled by the fact that Francesca is actually his youngest, and he and his wife, Naomi Scott, also share an 18-year-old son called Graham.
However, Adam’s age probably shouldn’t be too surprising, as while he is undeniably best known for his starring role in Severance at the moment, he has been pretty established in the acting industry since the ‘90s.
In 1994, he landed a recurring role as Griff in the hit sitcom Boy Meets World, and he has been working regularly ever since.
In addition to Severance, Adam’s most famous projects include the movie Step Brothers in 2008, and his portrayal of the beloved character Ben Wyatt in Parks and Recreation, which he joined in 2010.
