Honestly I wish we’d get rid of smartphones and go back to flip phones, Sidekicks, and Nokia phones. They lasted longer and I feel like we were more aware of what was going on around us. I love that I can get world wide news on my phone but I’ve noticed a dependency on my phone that I didn’t have 10 years ago.

I might get hate, but I feel like people should stop oversharing their opinions. It’s been so normalized to spread every little thing about every little thing about their life. It’s almost like social media is just bait for dangerous situations. There’s so much hate on the media because of this too.

People are too easily offended (and too readily go out of their way offend others). I'm not talking about someone throw-out the N word, everyone should be offended by that, but I've seen people absolutely lose their minds when a total stranger doesn't like their hair style. Just look at how celebrities sometimes react when a total stranger comments on an Instagram post. Sticks and stones people, sticks and stones.

I honestly feel Microsoft should have stopped Windows system upgrades with XP, and just made that faster with each new version. Office was WAY better with no subscriptions, Clippy (et al.) was optional, not required, and I would do anything to just have Windows Media Player 11 back.

That we've passed the point of being able to handle technology. It runs our lives now, instead of us running it. And the "make life effortless" aspect is also getting out of hand. How long before we're saying, "It isn't automatic, you have to push a button"?!?

A lot of shows these days have incredible production values, and it's glorious and I appreciate it and everything, but I'd happily sacrifice some of that in exchange for not having to wait 18 months to learn whether they're even making the next season and then another 3 years before I can actually watch it.

Bring back knobs and physical switches. Having touchscreens in cars is SUPER dangerous and they're completely pointless on ovens/appliances.
